Biography

Lubomir Kolev received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Moscow Power Institute, Moscow, USSR, in 1966, and the Ph.D. and D.Sc. degrees from the Higher Institute for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1973, and 1989, respectively.,From 1966 to 1968, he was an Engineer at the Institute for Technical Cybernetics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia, Bulgaria. Since December 1968, he has been with the Electrical Engineering Department, Faculty of Automatica, Technical University of Sofia, Sofia, where he has been a Full Professor since 1995.
