  Rhinoscleroma (Scrofulous lupus, scleroma) is an infectious disease caused by a Gram negative bacillus Klebsiella rhinoscleromatis. This is a chronic granulomatous disease which commonly involves the nose and upper respiratory tract, but can involve the oral cavity and soft tissues of the lips. The present case was reported as the presentation was with a mass lesion in the right upper lip and philtrum causing nasal obstruction in a 30 year old man.
