Maria Miguel Sá is the Medical Director of Inpatient Geriatrics programs at USF FAMILIAS it´ Health Centre, Portugal. His rsearch interests include promoting healthy aging for seniors in the community and quality of life for the frail elders and the seriously ill -- ensuring their safety, health, and happiness as they navigate the continuum of healthcare system (Home - Hospital - Postacute Care) -- empowering them through innovative solutions which are at the right intersection of 'hi-tech and hi-touch'.
