Mariano J Valderrama

Biography

Mariano Valderrama was a sociologist and doctor in Economic and Social Sciences from the University of Heidelberg , Germany. Between 1970 and 1990, he directed the Peruvian Center for Social Studies (CEPES) where with his radio program Tierra Fecunda 'he had national sympathy and carried out various investigations on rural society and its challenges. He worked at the PUCP (head of the Rural Research Area), he was technical secretary of International Cooperation of the PCM from where he led the creation of the Peruvian Agency for International Cooperation.
