Maryam Banitalebi Dehkordi is serving at an esteemed academic position in Perceptual Robotics laboratory (PERCRO) Scuola Superiore Sant’ Anna, Pisa, Italy. She is awarded PhD in Perceptual Robotics from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Italy in the year 2013. She holds a Master of Engineering in Mechatronics and Automatic Control from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in the year 2009, followed by a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shahrekord University, Iran in the year 2006.
