Biography

Dr. Maryam Farooqui is a pharmacist and a Senior lecturer at Faculty of Pharmacy, UiTM, Pinang. Dr Maryam is the recipient of the “Prestigious Publication award” from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Penang for two consecutive years in 2013 & 2014. Her research area focused on investigating the role of Complementary and Alternative Medicines (CAM) in Oncology care by using qualitative methodology. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Karachi, Pakistan and received bachelor in pharmacy (B.Pharm) during the year 2000.
