Biography
Michael Gubanov is an Assistant Professor at Florida State University. My research is in Data Science, Large-scale Data Management, Scalable Machine/Deep Learning, Web-search, and Mobile Computing. He earned his Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Washington working with Lucian Popa and Linda Shapiro. He did his Postdoc at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with Michael Stonebraker.
