Biography
Professor Michael McDevitt teaches courses in political communication, research methods, journalism studies, and opinion writing. He joined the CU faculty in 2001 after teaching at the University of New Mexico. Prior to his teaching career, he worked as a reporter and editorial writer for newspapers in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is the author of Where Ideas Go to Die: The Fate of Intellect in American Journalism (Oxford).
