Biography

Michael P Mazanetz gained his PhD in medicinal and computational chemistry at the University of Nottingham (UK). He has worked in the pharmaceutical sector for over a decade. His interests lie in the development and application of computational methods to drive medicinal chemistry projects forward. He is interested in applying quantum mechanical methods to direct medicinal chemistry efforts and as an educational tool in the understanding of molecular interactions. He has written many scientific papers in computational chemistry in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to several drug-discovery patents across a variety of therapeutic areas.
