Biography

 As Co-Founder and Chief Medical Director, Michael Perry, M.D., holds Laser Spine Institute’s mission of patient satisfaction and medical innovation in high esteem. It was with this mentality that he helped shape Laser Spine Institute into the world-renowned company that it is now.

Dr. Perry continually seeks ways to advance medicine to keep Laser Spine Institute on the cusp of medical innovation as he oversees Laser Spine Institute’s Medical Research Department. He oversees Laser Spine Institute’s medical operations, ensuring that each patient receives the top-notch care that Dr. Perry founded the company upon.

Frequently sought out for his expertise on minimally invasive spine surgery and patient-centered care, Dr. Perry is a regular contributor to leading medical publications. He is a Value Committee member for North American Spine Society.

Dr. Perry received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. He is board certified in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine.

His professional organizations and committees include American Medical Association, American College of Physician Executives, American College of Sports Medicine and International College of Surgeons.

Dr. Perry lives in Odessa, Florida, with his family. He considers opening and cultivating Laser Spine Institute as one of his biggest accomplishments.
