Dr. Seyed Mohammad Ali Jafari is a Polymer Technologist from Iran with specialization in nanotechnology. In a recent project he successfully developed degradable PET-based nanocomposites with the aid of PLA and graphene oxide (GO). Using various characterization techniques, it was demonstrated that inclusion of small amounts of PLA and GO into PET matrix promote the thermal, thermo-oxidative and hydrocatalytic degradation characteristics of the PET-based products.
