Biography

Mukesh Doble is a Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at IIT Madras, Chennai-600036, India. He has previously worked for 20 years in Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) and General Electric (GE) Technology centers. His areas of interest are Drug design, Biomaterials, Bioreactors, and Bioremediation. He holds B. Tech and M. Tech degrees in Chemical Engineering from IIT, Madras, India, and a Ph. D. from the University of Aston, Birmingham, UK, and postdoctoral from the University of Cambridge, U.K., and Texas A&M, U.S.A.
