Biography

She have a PhD in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from Rhodes University, South Africa. She have specialized skills and research interest in medical Biochemistry, Genomics, computational structural modelling and molecular dynamic simulations of proteins for drug target identification. She have computer programming skills in Python, R, Matlab and Bash Scripting languages as well as high-performance computing. Further, she have commendable knowledge in Structural Bioinformatics, Proteomics, Bioinformatic algorithms, Data mining and Artificial Neural Networks. Her research interest focuses on combining structural bioinformatics, pharmacology and comparative genomics for identification of potential drug targets and novel drugs for economically important human diseases.
