Dr. Obenson is head of the autopsy service in Saint John and the forensic group in New Brunswick, Canada. He is Associate Professor of Pathology at Dalhousie University in Halifax Nova Scotia and Assistant Professor of Pathology at Memorial University in Newfoundland. Dr. Obenson worked as a UN volunteer in Jamaica, where he has also represented next of kin as the family observer in postmortem examinations of police action deaths
