Biography

Dr. Osval Antonio Montesinos-López, holds a PhD in statistics and biometrics from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln Nebraska, USA. He has published 93 scientific articles in national and international journals. He belongs to Level I of the SNI. His areas of interest are statistics and machine learning applied to the biological sciences. He has taught courses on genomic prediction and statistical machine learning in Mexico, the United States of America, Brazil, Peru , France, Nigeria and India.
