Ousman Bajinka earned a bachelors in science degree (biology and chemistry), worked as laboratory technician and briefly as a the health and safety advisor-biological with Medical Research Council London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Gambia Unit. A Professional Course in Bio Risk Management with University of Edinburgh. He has trainings in series of ISO standards, Bioinformatics, R machine learning, GCLP, MCS training, Fire Safety, Infectious Control and Sharp Safety. Currently, he works at the Medical School, University of The Gambia. He is now a PhD Candidate in Medical Microbiology with Central South University.
