Dr. Patrick Guinan is Co-Director of the Basic Science Urology Research Laboratory for the Cook County Health and Hospitals System. In addition, he is Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Hektoen Institute of Medicine and Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Urology at University of Illinois. He received his medical degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He completed his surgery and urology residency at Cook County Hospital and received a Masters in Public Health (MPH) at Columbia University in New York. Dr. Guinan has over two hundred peer-reviewed journal publications and four books.
