Biography
Dr Patries Herst graduated with a PhD in Cancer Cell Biology from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2006; she is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Radiation Therapy (UoO) where she mentors postgraduate radiation therapy students. Dr Herst conduct several single and multicentre clinical trials in New Zealand that have investigated management of acute radiation induced side effects, including skin reactions, oral mucositis and cystitis.
