Dr.Shafiul Alam is highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher with a demonstrated research and teaching experience in Cardiac Biology and Molecular Biology. Shafiul Alam have recently received American Heart Association Postdoctoral fellowship which indicate his proficiency in his research field. Immediately after his MS graduation in biochemistry and molecular biology from Dhaka University, Shafiul joined the Columbia University (NY) Arsenic Research Group to elucidate the molecular mechanism of arsenic toxicity in human focusing on the epigenetic changes (Project location Bangladesh).
