Biography
I am an Associate Professor in Information Technology at Murdoch University, Perth, Australia. I joined Murdoch in July 2015. I worked as an Assistant Professor/Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia between 2008 and 2015. I obtained PhD from Monash University, Australia, and BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka. My main research field is Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing. We investigate advanced image/video analysis and machine learning techniques which can be applied in scene understanding, medical/bio-medical imaging, agricultural monitoring, environmental sustainability measure, remote sensing, and surveillance and monitoring.
