Assistant Professor (TTS) Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics Faculty of Agriculture Sciences The University of Haripur, Pakistan,As a plant scientist, I am interested in functional characterization of ion transporters, channels and membrane receptors using targeted genomics and transcriptomic techniques. Another area of research is to engineer plant photosynthetic machinery and processes for improving yield and yield related traits. Undergrad students are also engaged in studying the genetic diversity of sweat orange through genotyping by sequencing and GWAS
