Biography
After Surendra Prakash Goyal postgraduation, Surendra Prakash started his research on conservation issues related to desert fauna, specifically desert antelopes. Over the last two decades at WII, He have focused on teaching wildlife ecology, field research methods and wildlife-habitat relationships of ungulates and carnivores. His research interests include estimation of food habits, habitat fragmentation and corridors and the use of lab methods, especially in nutritional ecology. Currently, Surendra Prakash Goyal involved in research in and application of molecular ecology to landscape genetics and other aspects of ecological investigations to minimize carnivore-man conflicts.
