Biography

Dr. Tahir Yaqub is a Senior Member of the University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore where his work focuses on promoting students academics and sharing knowledge about research. Dr. Tahir served as a member of the Animal Care. Dr. Tahir has a PhD Microbiology, and also did Post-Doc from Animal Health Compton UK where his work was on Novel genotyping of H9 Avian Influenza and its Phylogenetic Analysis.His research interests include investigating the biology, pathogenesis, immunology, epidemiology and livestock diseases. Currently, his focus has been to improve diagnostic assays and vaccination strategies for livestock pathogens.
