Dr. Tiffany Chang’s laboratory focuses studying coagulation and platelet function in the setting of intracranial bleeding. In collaboration with the Neuroscience Research Repository (NRR), she is prospectively enrolling patients with intracerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage and traumatic brain injury. Using thrombelastography (TEG), which analyzes the coagulation process and clot strength, she aims to understand how coagulation profiles relate to outcomes following brain injury.
