Biography

He he obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1973. From 01/05/81 he has been working at the Vittorio Emanuele Hospital in Catania, where since 2000 he still holds the position of Director of the Division of Medicine, with an adjoining outpatient clinic in Diabetology and Endocrinology. From the academic year 2002 - 2003 to today he has a teaching position at the School Specialization in Nephrology of the University of Catania and has 127 papers published in national and international journals.
