Biography
Yuebin Guo, a pioneer in manufacturing informatics, joins Rutgers School of Engineering as the Henry Rutgers Professor of Advanced Manufacturing in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace. Guo is internationally recognized for his seminal research contributions in the areas of smart manufacturing and sustainable production, with particular emphasis in the development, understanding, and control of process−surface integrity−functionality relationships for various manufacturing processes. Guo received his doctoral and master’s degrees in advanced manufacturing from Purdue University and University of California at Berkeley, respectively.
