    Trigeminal schwannomas are rare, benign tumors that arise from the schwann cells of the trigeminal nerve. Their location in the skull base presents significant surgical challenges due to the intricate anatomy and the proximity to critical neurovascular structures. Traditional approaches to their resection have included the subtemporal, retrosigmoid, and transpetrosal routes.
