Bechet syndrome is a multisystemic illness that leads to vasculitis. The classic constellation of symptoms is recurrent aphthous ulcers of the mouth and genitalia, hyperreactivity of the skin to penetrating trauma (pathergy reaction), other skin lesions, arthritis, and panuveitis.
