    The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies presents significant opportunities for improving the mobility and functional independence of elderly populations. As the global population ages, addressing mobility challenges and maintaining functional capabilities are critical to enhancing quality of life and reducing the burden on healthcare systems. This essay outlines the development of an evidence and gap map for creating a protocol to evaluate AI-powered tools aimed at improving mobility and function in elderly people.
