Although modern statistics show that the average cost of dying from
cancer has decreased for men, women, and children, cancer continues to be
the second leading cause of death in the United States after cardiovascular
disease and is responsible for tens of millions of deaths worldwide. It has been
estimated that there will be 1,806,590 new cases and 606,520 deaths related
to cancer in 2020. Since 2018, approximately 5% of the population in the
United States has been diagnosed with all types of cancer together. Between
