    Convergent and Parallel Protein Aggregation Patterns in Major Mental Illnesses

    The aggregation of specific proteins has emerged as a promising avenue in the search for underlying mechanisms of major mental illnesses. This abstract delves into the intriguing phenomenon of convergent and parallel protein aggregation patterns observed across various psychiatric disorders. By examining shared molecular pathways and protein networks implicated in conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and major depressive disorder, this study sheds light on the potential interplay between protein aggregation and the complex pathophysiology of these disorders.
