However, many pathogens have evolved sophisticated strategies to evade detection and neutralization by the host immune system, enabling their survival and propagation within the host. This review delves into the fascinating world of immune evasion strategies employed by various pathogens, including viruses, bacteria, and parasites. We explore the diverse mechanisms utilized by these pathogens to avoid recognition by the immune system, such as antigenic variation, immune mimicry, and interference with immune signaling pathways.
