Reevaluating the Neuropathology of Schizophrenia: A Critical Review of Data and Interpretations

Schizophrenia, a complex and chronic mental disorder, has long been studied for its underlying neuropathological mechanisms. Recent advances in neuroimaging, molecular biology, and genetics have provided new insights into the disease's pathology. This review critically assesses recent data on the neuropathology of schizophrenia, addressing the controversies and evolving interpretations.
