  Ranula are mucous cysts of salivary gland origin. The traditional treatment is surgery to resect the ranula but it has disadvantages such as postoperative pain, perioperative risks, and surgical side effects. Our team firstly reported the case of a 21-year-old man with an extraoral ranula who was successfully treated with foamed lauromacrogol sclerotherapy.
