  Gene therapy has emerged as a promising approach for addressing cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, atherosclerosis and Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH). This review explores the evolution of gene therapy techniques and their applications in the management of these cardiovascular conditions. We discuss the underlying molecular mechanisms, delivery methods and therapeutic targets utilized in gene therapy interventions for hypertension, atherosclerosis and FH.
