  The health and stability of our ecosystems are of utmost importance for the well-being of both human and non-human life on Earth. Unfortunately, human activities have led to the introduction of various chemical contaminants into the environment, which can have detrimental effects on the delicate balance of ecosystems. The field of ecotoxicology aims to understand the influence of these chemical contaminants on ecological systems and to assess their potential risks.
