Pulmonary Pathways: Exploring Progress in Lung Diseases and Treatment

Pulmonary diseases continue to be a significant cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. In recent years, there have been substantial
advancements in our understanding of the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of lung diseases. This research article aims to explore
the progress made in pulmonary medicine, with a focus on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), asthma, and pulmonary
fibrosis. The article reviews the intricate pathways involved in the pathogenesis of these diseases, highlighting the role of oxidative stress,
genetic susceptibility, immunological responses, and abnormal wound healing processes.
Furthermore, it discusses recent advances in diagnostic techniques, including imaging modalities and biomarkers, which have improved
