Analysis of Q345C Steel using Johnson-cook Constitutive and Damage-fracture Model Parameters
    Author(s): Diekman Duncheva*

The structural integrity and performance of steel materials are critical factors in various engineering applications, ranging from automotive manufacturing to infrastructure development. Understanding the mechanical behavior and response of steel under different loading conditions is essential for ensuring the safety and reliability of engineered systems. In this study, we analyze the mechanical properties of Q345C steel using the Johnson-Cook constitutive model and damage-fracture model parameters. Through experimental testing and numerical simulations, we aim to characterize the material behavior, predict deformation, and assess fracture initiation and propagation in Q345C steel. The findings provide valuable insights into the mechanical response of steel under complex loading conditions and contribute to the development of accurate predictive models for engi.. Read More»
