    Comparisons between COVID-19 and Flu

    COVID-19 and flu are both transmissible respiratory illnesses, but they are caused by much type of viruses. COVID-19 is instigated by infection with a coronavirus first recognized in 2019, and flu is instigated by infection with influenza viruses. The viruses that cause COVID-19 and the flu spread in parallel ways. They can both spread between people who are in close contact (within 6 feet, or 2 meters). The viruses feast through respiratory droplets or aerosols unconfined through sneezing, talking, or coughing. These droplets can land in the mouth or nose of someone close.
