Pulmonary hypertension is a life-threatening condition characterized by high blood pressure in the pulmonary arteries, leading to heart failure and other complications. Pharmacological agents are the primary mode of treatment for pulmonary hypertension, and new agents are continuously being developed and studied to improve patient outcomes.
