    Biomineralization in teeth is a complex and highly regulated process that results in the formation of enamel and dentin, two vital components of the tooth structure. Understanding the mechanisms underlying enamel and dentin formation is crucial for developing strategies to prevent dental diseases such as caries and to promote effective dental treatments. This article reviews the molecular processes, cellular interactions, and key proteins involved in biomineralization within the tooth, highlighting recent advancements and unresolved questions in this field.
