																Case Investigation: Monitoring 16-year-old Patient with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

						 This case investigation focuses on the comprehensive management and monitoring of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) in a 16-year-old patient. 
  The adolescent presents with symptoms of increased thirst, frequent urination, fatigue and unintended weight loss. Diagnostic evaluations 
  reveal elevated fasting plasma glucose levels and a high HbA1c, confirming the diagnosis of T2DM. The management plan incorporates lifestyle 
  modifications, including dietary changes and increased physical activity, alongside pharmacotherapy with Metformin. Regular monitoring of blood 
  glucose levels, HbA1c and associated metabolic parameters is emphasized to ensure effective disease management and prevent complications.
