  Introduction: Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) are the most common mesenchymal neoplasms of the gastrointestinal system. Histopathological and immunochemistry examination takes an important part in confirming the types of GISTs, to choose appropriate therapeutics for patients.
