    Quantum computing represents a transformative leap in computational technology, with the potential to revolutionize many fields, including telecommunications. By leveraging the principles of quantum mechanics, quantum computers promise to solve complex problems far beyond the reach of classical computers. This article explores how quantum computing might impact telecommunications, detailing its potential benefits and challenges. At its core, quantum computing harnesses the power of quantum bits or qubits, which can exist in multiple states simultaneously due to a property known as superposition. Unlike classical bits, which are either 0 or 1, qubits can represent both 0 and 1 at the same time.
