  Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is a sexually transmitted disease, caused by human immunodeficiency virus type 1, affects CD4+ T cells. Illegal sex is the main cause of AIDS. This review demonstrates Islamic preventive ways against AIDS. Islam encourages safe sex in different methods, some of them clearly mentioned in Quran and Hadith, the remaining methods indirectly established by Islamic authorities from Sources of Islamic legislation.
