New Developments in Combined Wireless Power and Data Transmission Systems
Author(s): Helika Fronin*
In recent years, the integration of Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) and Data Transfer (DT) technologies has emerged as a transformative area
of research and development, promising to revolutionize how devices are powered and communicate wirelessly. This paper explores the
latest advancements, trends, challenges, and future directions in this convergence of WPT and DT systems, highlighting its potential impact
across diverse sectors. The integration of WPT and DT technologies involves leveraging advanced techniques such as magnetic resonance
coupling, resonant inductive coupling, and non-resonant methods using microwave and radio frequency (RF) technologies. Magnetic resonance
coupling allows for efficient power transfer by utilizing resonant frequencies between coils, minimizing energy loss and optimizing transmission
efficiency over short to moderate distances. .. Read More»
