The Effectiveness of Cognitive Psychotherapy on Social and Emotional Health in Women Undergoing Surgical Menopause

Surgical menopause is an emergency procedure performed on a woman when reproductive pathology requires it. With various intervention
protocols, the post-surgical consequences should be effectively monitored and controlled. One of the commendable protocols for improving the
emotional and social profiles of women undergoing surgical menopause is cognitive-behavioral therapy.It is a randomised controlled trial involving
230 women who have undergone surgical menopause. Participants were divided into intervention and control groups at random. Following the
collection of demographic information, the CBT intervention Cognitive Behaviour Therapy programme - was implemented, lasting seven months
