Exploring the Mechanisms of Lung Cancer Metastasis: Implications for Targeted Therapy

Lung cancer is a major health concern worldwide, and metastasis is the main cause of death in patients with this disease. Despite advances in treatment options, the mechanisms underlying lung cancer metastasis are still not fully understood. In this article, we provide an overview of the current understanding of the mechanisms involved in lung cancer metastasis, including the role of tumor microenvironment, epithelialmesenchymal transition (EMT), and cancer stem cells.
