  Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common sexually transmitted infection worldwide and is a leading cause of cervical cancer. Despite being highly preventable through vaccination and regular screening, HPV-related diseases continue to pose a significant health threat, particularly among marginalized communities with limited access to healthcare. This abstract explores the importance of raising awareness about HPV and cervical cancer, emphasizing the need for education, vaccination programs and accessible screening services to combat this preventable yet often overlooked public health issue.
