  Autoimmune disorders, including diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, multiple sclerosis, and type 1 diabetes, occur when the body’s immune system mistakenly targets and attacks its own tissues. These disorders are highly complex and often involve a combination of genetic predisposition, environmental factors, and immune dysregulation.
